Arnhem City Hall Consultation Hours: Grant Program for Productions, Events, and Festivals

About the Program

This grant program is intended for public events and cultural initiatives that contribute to Arnhem’s status as a city of events and culture. This includes public events such as social, sustainable, and cultural events. For cultural productions that make culture widely accessible, there are separate requirements, and the option is available for a one-year or two-year grant. Grant applications for 2026 must be submitted by October 1, 2026. More information about the program can be found here.

For whom.

This consultation session is intended for project organizers and organizations that wish to submit a grant application to the City of Arnhem for projects in the City of Arnhem that will not take place until at least January 2027. Whether you want to organize a large festival, a cultural project, or a small-scale event, you are very welcome to attend.

• Have answers to all your questions about the application process and guidelines.

Program

The consultation hour is a walk-in session. This means you can drop in at any time between 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. The session begins with a brief presentation by the City of Arnhem about the regulations. Afterward, questions will be addressed in the order they are received. In addition to asking your own questions, you can also listen in and contribute your thoughts while other participants’ questions are being addressed. Once all your questions have been answered and you have enough information, you are free to leave the consultation session early.

About the speaker(s)

Joseph Dommenck and Saskia Wilmsen from the City of Arnhem will be present during the consultation hours. Joseph is involved in managing and coordinating grant programs for the cultural sector within the City of Arnhem. Saskia knows all the ins and outs of the events. Take advantage of their knowledge and experience to increase your chances of a successful application.
