Culture Table: The Connection Between Students and Cultural Organizations

On Thursday, November 5, 2026, Cultuur op de Campus, in collaboration with Expo Bart, Cultuur Academy , and Radboud University, will host a new Cultuurtafel event. Would you like to know how cultural organizations can reach students, or how student associations can collaborate with cultural organizations? Then this event is for you. We’ll discuss what works and the challenges you might face in practice.

What are we going to do?

We’ll get to know each other and share our experiences. How does the cultural season relate to the academic year? What can we learn from each other? And, above all, we’ll get to work together. 

For whom.

This afternoon's event is of interest to anyone from a cultural organization or student association who is looking to collaborate with others. For example, program planners and marketers at cultural institutions, and board members of cultural student associations. 

After this Culture Roundtable

• you'll make new connections in both the cultural sector and student life;
• Do you know how and when, as a cultural organization, you can reach students?;
• Do you know, as a student organization, how and which cultural organizations to approach?;
• Do you have specific points of reference for potential collaborations?

Program

We'll start at 2:00 p.m. with a drop-in session at Expo Bart. At 2:30 p.m., we'll kick off the program and hand out two handouts:

• How do you collaborate with students (who are members of cultural student organizations) and;
• How to Collaborate with Cultural Organizations (with a map of cultural organizations).

Afterward, starting at 2:50 p.m., we’ll work together on a collaborative assignment. You’ll wrap up the afternoon with a networking reception starting at 4:30 p.m., where you can get to know your new contacts better.
