Workshop Marketing for creators

€15, including VAT

Arnhem (exact location to follow)

As a creator, artist, or performer, you know how important your work is, but how do you ensure that others see it that way too? How do you market yourself without feeling like you're drifting far away from your own creative process? And how do you ensure that your work is seen without it feeling like something you 'have to' do? In this workshop, you will discover how to use marketing and communication in a way that suits you and your work.

For whom

This workshop is suitable for anyone who works as a creator, artist, performer, or creative professional and wants to promote their own work. Not entirely sure who your audience or target group is? Then see if the workshop "Know your audience" can help you with this.

After the workshop

  • Do you know which communication tools you can use to promote your work?
  • Do you have a clear idea of how you can communicate about your work in a way that suits you, without losing your own creativity?
  • Are you inspired to see marketing not as a "should" but as an opportunity to use your creativity in communicating your work.

Program

Marketing and communication for creators is very different from marketing from within an organization, institution or event. It often feels like something that belongs, but not always an extension of who you are. This can cause frustration, especially if you don't experience it as a creative process.

This can be different! In this workshop you will be inspired and challenged to both stay close to yourself and become creative in your communication. There is also plenty of room for practical tools, tips and tricks. We will discuss several cases and examples, so that you go home with concrete ideas that you can apply immediately.

At the end of the evening you are not an accomplished marketer, but you do have the tools and inspiration to communicate yourself and your work with more fun and creativity.
