As a creator, youprefer to focus your energy on creating and developing new work. However, sustainable creativity also requires a healthy financial foundation. In this workshop, you will discover how to strengthen your creative practice financially—with insight into opportunities, resources, and strategies that suit you.

Program

This workshop focuses on various financing options: from subsidies and grants to loans, crowdfunding, and personal income. You will receive practical tools to get started with these sources of funding and, through exercises and exchanges with other creators, discover which financing mix best suits you and your practice. 

About the trainer

Moniek Klabbers is a program maker at Cultuur Academy, a quartermaster at the Stadsschouwburg Nijmegen and Concertgebouw de Vereeniging, and has been Groeispurt charge Groeispurt for the past four years. As a cultural freelancer, she has been working for various organizations in a wide range of roles and positions for over ten years. As a cultural entrepreneur, she has experience in collaborating in a general partnership and managing a team of freelancers.
