Workshop on Effective Meetings
€65, including VAT
Arnhem
From endless agenda items to effective actions: here’s how to make your meeting time count.
Holding effective meetings with your colleagues is an art in itself. We’re often busy enough as it is, so it’s important to make the most of meeting time. How can you ensure that you’re using the time you have effectively? You want participants to stay engaged and involved, for energy levels to remain high, and, above all, for the meeting to be meaningful and productive. Perhaps not every agenda item needs to be discussed at length—an email might suffice. With the right approach, meetings become not only more efficient but also more enjoyable and effective for everyone!
For whom.
This workshop is intended for anyone who leads or organizes meetings within cultural organizations. After all, we’ve all been to meetings that take up more time than they’re worth. Whether they’re production meetings, project meetings, or strategic sessions, every meeting offers an opportunity to make them more focused, efficient, and effective.

- Can you prepare for and lead a meeting in a structured manner?
- Do you know how to make meetings more personal and interactive?
- Do you understand how to boost energy and engagement?

- Get new inspiration, tips, and tools to get started right away.
Program
In this workshop, you’ll examine the structure of meetings and apply those insights directly to your own practice. We’ll cover practical tips and tools for approaching meetings differently and more effectively, and discuss the various types of meetings and how to facilitate them effectively. We’ll also explore how to build support and foster a sense of ownership within your team. You’ll work with materials from your own meeting situations: by bringing documents with you in advance, you’ll be able to get started right away with concrete examples during the workshop. You’ll go home with practical formats, techniques, and discussion tools that you can apply in your team as early as the next day.
