Het Duivelspaard - Collectief RAM
In this interactive theatrical concert, Collective RAM takes the audience into the tradition of Dutch folk music. They sing and tell the old stories, the still catchy melodies and in this way revive a piece of our history, which connects us to each other. But in singing and playing these lyrics, they simultaneously discover that there is all sorts of things wrong with the so-called "historical" songs. They are patriarchal, role-affirming and downright misogynistic. One woman after another is turned into a horse, locked in a cellar or murdered. Collective ARIES is getting angry. For how far have we really come, how progressive are we really together? In HET DUIVELSPAARD, their self-appointed musical demolition shed, they demolish the old songs with black marker, paper and scissors, but also rebuild them the way they would like to hear them and pass them on themselves. Collective RAM is recipient of the Stroomversneller, the fund of Cultuur Academy.

Jade Doe
The name "Jane Doe" represents the average woman, and that's where Jade Doe gets her inspiration. Her music is recognizable to the everyday woman and gives others a glimpse into their diary. She graduated from the ArtEZ Conservatory (Jazz & Pop) in Arnhem in 2024. Her music combines Alternative R&B with indie and folk influences, and is known for its strong melodies and personal stories. Jade is currently working on her new EP, Watersign, which will be released in the fall of 2025. Live, she manages to deliver an intimate and enchanting experience with both band and solo. During Uitnacht, she plays in a duo setting at Sound & Soul. Jane Doe is a recipient of the Stroomversneller, the fund of Cultuur Academy.
Bubble 3 | 20:00-00:00
The Hub | Varkensstraat 4
20:25 - 20:50
The EP 'FAMILYMATTERS' is an investigation into intergenerational trauma, about how it can affect people's lives for generations and what it is like to carry such a legacy with you. Jesse van der Wel is an Arnhem-based singer and music theater maker and together with Mauro Casarini, producer and sound designer for theater and dance (NITE, Club Guy&Roni, Theater Rotterdam), he develops new Dutch-speaking material in a dark electronic sound. Think Sevdaliza, James Blake and Wende. The songs of the EP connect to each other as in a performance and take the audience into a poetic but glacial self-examination.
Jesse is a recipient of the Stroomversneller, the fund of Cultuur Academy.
