During Art Night, BLIK and Cultuur Academy will take you on a tour featuring performances, music, and visual art at the Honig site. In BLIK’s performance hall, the factory hall, and the outdoor area, you’ll discover a program in which stillness, energy, illusion, and reality constantly alternate.
Eva Julia & Luc Voss –LAGEN
A seemingly perfect household tutorial slowly devolves into a ritualistic performance about protection, control, and vulnerability. At its heart is the onion: an everyday object that, when peeled layer by layer, leads to the core—and to emotion.
In LAGEN, Eva Julia and Luc Voss explore how we build shields—made of clothing, habits, and daily routines—to hold our ground in a world that seems to be getting harsher and harsher. But what remains when that protection slowly disappears?
With powerful imagery, repetitive rituals, and a live soundscape of techno and electronic sounds by Luc Voss, LAGEN navigates the tension between protection and exposure, repetition and suffocation, and control and surrender.

Boter bij de Vis is a quirky Dutch pop duo from Arnhem consisting of Tobias Tempelman and Anne-Roos van der Meijden. Their self-produced songs, full of pop and hip-hop influences, explore conflicting emotions and the search for lightness in confusing times.
With sharp lyrics, driving beats, and an energetic live show, they’ll make you laugh, think, and move along with them—and there’s plenty of room to go as low as your bank balance with the whole crowd: pretty low, in other words.

Sofie Rosalien Deen –Embodiment of No
The work of photographer and poet Sofie Rosalien Deen is on continuous display in the old factory hall.
Experimental photographer and poet Sofie Rosalien Deen creates work in which she explores the boundaries of discomfort. Inspired by sociology, psychology, and themes such as the subconscious, dreams, the body, and stigma, she examines in her project *Embodiment of No* how women physically experience and communicate boundaries. After all, how do you embody a boundary when your “no” isn’t heard until the third time?

Jelle Mastenbroek - Chair Dance
Continue walking through the factory and take a look at the theatrical installation *Stoelendans*: two converted stand-up chairs move to classical music. A dance that depicts a society which, despite dwindling resources, tries to keep the rhythm going. A quest for equilibrium in an aging world, for balance in a future where older adults are not sidelined but play a leading role.
In his work, Jelle Mastenbroek uses humor and positivity to challenge stereotypes and spark social reflection or change. In his interactive installations, he employs iconic objects that convey a story or message through their symbolic meaning.
