About Jan-Wieger
Jan-Wieger van den Berg is actually an artist and graphic designer, but also extremely active as a creator, organizer and consultant in the world of art and culture. For years he was involved with platform POST (formerly Expoplu), a stage for contemporary art. Since 2010 he has been program and policy maker at the 'Artist in residence Besiendershuis' in Nijmegen. Art and culture and the unexpected dynamics they can bring about are close to his heart. An accessible and open connection between art and the public and between the public and art is of great importance for mutual understanding, appreciation and support. He therefore tries to be that connection from time to time.
