Hanneke and Jonas: ''We are visual and theater makers DeJong&DeWitte. Since 2007 we have been working together on interdisciplinary projects from our backgrounds in music, film, theater, design and visual arts. Our investigative working method leaves room for applied dramaturgy. The projects are mostly tailored to individual audience experiences and to the venues themselves. Our mission is to give the audience a new perspective on the mysteries of the everyday, and thus to contemplate the world not only in a physical sense.''

Hanneke de Jong presents herself as a theater maker, performer, singer-songwriter. Her working method is conceptual, from an associative basis. With a background in the Academy of Fine Arts and the Performance course at the Maastricht Theatre Academy, she searches in her work for forms that cannot be captured in words. In this she pursues both clarity and stratification with poetic simplicity.

Jonas de Witte is a designer, filmmaker and playwright and inspiration behind his company Studio Beeldontwerp. He studied graphic design at the Royal Academy in Antwerp, graduated from the Design Academy Eindhoven and studied Digital Video Directing in Amsterdam. His work is conceptual and experimental in character. He likes to work towards a clear visual language with a sense of detail.
