Dennis Gaens

Dennis Gaens is a poet, radio producer, and sound artist. He has published the poetry collections *ik en mijn mensen* and *schering en inslag* and has contributed to a wide range of publications. He created the musical theater productions *Lucy* (with Marco Martens) and *En de ander* ( with Orgel Vreten). In 2014, he launched the literary podcast *Ondercast*. Under that name, he now creates audio productions: podcasts, audio tours, radio plays, and sound design—both commissioned and independent. He is currently working on a new poetry collection and a series of audio works.

Gaens also mentors writers for various organizations and teaches at the ArtEZ Academy of the Arts in Arnhem, the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam, and Escuela Des Escritores in Madrid. Amsterdam and Escuela Des Escritores in Madrid.
