Training - Results-oriented impact measurement

Discover the power of impact measurement and make tangible what your organization really adds.

How do you demonstrate that your organization makes a difference? What do you want people to say about you, and how do you know if you actually achieve that? In this intensive pressure cooker training you will discover how to make the desired impact measurable and visible. Not as a justification afterwards, but as a clear story that shows what you stand for. You will learn how impact becomes part of your strategy, with practical methods and applicable insights.

For whom

For anyone who wants to use impact as a guiding tool in mission-driven work. Whether you are an artist, project manager, marketer, impact producer or program maker, you will develop a vision of impact measurement that fits your practice and ambitions.

After training

  • Understand the difference between customer-driven, passion-driven and mission-driven organizations and know how this affects your impact strategy.
  • Can you build strong and relevant stories around the impact of your work.
  • Know how to use qualitative and quantitative techniques for clear and reliable insights the impact you or your organization is making.
  • Have tools to structurally embed impact measurement in your organization.
  • Have practical tools such as Theory of Change and Chapter Thinking to get started right away.

Program

Impact measurement is about making visible what really counts for your organization. Not only in numbers, but also in meaning. What makes your work valuable for your mission, your audience, your partners? During this two-day training you learn how to make impact visible with practical techniques, inspiring examples and smart translations to strategy and storytelling.

We close the first afternoon with a joint dinner, a relaxed moment to exchange experiences with other participants. On day two we go deeper into the content and you work further on your own case. Afterwards you will receive the book Storytellers, Not Sellers by trainer Ken Veerman, so you can continue to build impact in your practice independently.

Six weeks later we meet again online for a guided peer review. A moment of reflection: what have you applied, what worked or not, and what insights do you take with you for the future?

Fun and educational training that translates impact measurement into something you can start doing today and is fun!
