Nijmegen City Hall Consultation Hours: One-Year Cultural Grants

On August 19, 2026, the City of Nijmegen’s “One-Year Cultural Grants” program will reopen. Are you planning to apply and do you have any questions? Then come to the Grant Consultation September 11 and ask your questions directly to the right people at the City of Nijmegen!

About the Program

The grant is intended to encourage exciting and diverse cultural activities and (one-year) programs. You can apply for a grant for participatory and artistic cultural activities. Grant applications for 2027 must be submitted by October 1, 2026, at . More information about the program can be found here.

For whom.

This consultation session is intended for project initiators and organizations that wish to submit a grant application to the City of Nijmegen for projects in the Nijmegen region that will take place no earlier than January 1, 2027. Whether you want to organize a large festival, a cultural project, or a small-scale event, you are very welcome to attend.

  • Can you estimate if your project qualifies.
  • Have answers to all your questions about the application process and guidelines.

Program

The consultation hour is a walk-in session. This means you can drop by at any time between 12:30 and 14:30. The session begins with a brief presentation by the City of Nijmegen about the program. In addition to asking your own questions, you can also listen in and contribute your thoughts as other participants’ questions are addressed. Once all your questions have been answered and you have enough information, you are free to leave the consultation session early.

About the speaker(s)

Anneke Zondag and Michelle Jacobs from the City of Nijmegen will be present during the consultation hours. Anneke and Michelle are involved in managing and coordinating grant programs for the cultural sector within the City of Nijmegen. Take advantage of their knowledge and experience to increase your chances of a successful application.
